A note from Dr. Gilbuena: COVID-19 numbers are very high at this time. I have instructed our staff to reschedule any patient in the office who will not adhere to our mask requirement. We will be happy to visit with those patients when this period of heightened health concern has passed.
What To Expect
At this time, we are inviting well patients of all ages who are able to wear a mask properly during their entire visit into our office.
Patients are seen by appointment only. Our optical showroom is also available by appointment only.
We are operating at a reduced occupancy limit to facilitate social distancing. Please call our office from your car to let us know when you have arrived. (480) 615-9010. You will be welcomed into the office by a staff member when space allows and the office has been sanitized.
Patient companions are not permitted in the office.
Each patient must wear a well-fitting mask that covers both nose and mouth while in the office. The following mask designs are not permitted in our office: Masks with exhalation valves, single-layer neck gaiters, scarves, bandanas, and other light knits or open designs*.
Patients will be screened upon entering the office, including in-ear temperature (maximum allowed 99.4°F). Anyone presenting with symptoms of COVID-19 or with known exposure to symptomatic individuals within the previous two weeks (including health care professionals) will be asked to reschedule.
Patients will wash their hands upon completion of health screening.
Hand sanitizer and washing stations are available throughout the office.
Six-foot social distancing guidelines are to be followed at all possible times.
Our restroom is closed to the public.
Our waiting area is closed. Please call the office from your car upon arrival to check in for your appointment. We will first confirm that the office has been sanitized before inviting you inside.
*Your appointment will be rescheduled if you present to the office with inadequate face covering.
